There are several that would disagree stating that the purest pollen only comes from New Zealand. While thousands of species of flowers means there is a fine variety to choose from, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is the most potent, or even pure for that matter.

Essentially, the only thing that really makes it Spanish is that it is from Spain.

Why is Pollen from Spain Not Pure?

When discussing the purity of pollen, one could raise several arguments. Pollen is a complete super food, which is loaded with amino acids, protein, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes too.

No matter where the pollen is from it is potent, but the absolute purest form of bee pollen in the world isn’t in Spain; it’s in New Zealand.

New Zealand is a country of mystery, renowned for their manufacturing standards of purity and faithfulness to remaining organic. New Zealand has the lowest pollution ratings, and the use of pesticides or insecticides is outlawed.

Not only that, New Zealand was the last landmass on earth to be populated by humans. Most other countries can’t even survive without the use of pesticides which means that their crops are tainted far beyond what they would experience if pests were on the plants!

Experts agree that insects are not always bad, because they are the ones that overturn the earth below to aerate our soil. Without them in the ground, farming would be very difficult and the health of our crops would suffer. There are some areas in which there are some pests that eat plants religiously, leaving very little for the farmer to collect.

Rather than using toxic chemicals there are methods that they can put into place to protect their crops, but using sprayers that deliver gallons upon gallons of chemicals in much easier in their opinion.

In conclusion, while we know that Spanish pollen has been regarded as a complete super food, we know that is true of pollen regardless. The source of the pollen is what is important, and the more pure the environment it is harvested from, the better.
